WSM Chooses The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity

The Rainbow Trust is a children’s charity that provides emotional and practical support for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness throughout the UK. 

Here are a few examples of the support they provide to families:

·         Practical tasks in the home – taking the stress from parents by helping around with activities around the house

·         Spending time with sick children at times when parents are unable to

·         Spending time with siblings

·         Emotional support during the bereavement process

On Thursday 7th February, Holly Jenkins, a corporate fundraiser from The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, came to visit us at WSM to give a presentation and discuss fundraising ideas.  Amongst several other suggestions, she mentioned George, Zippy and Bungle costumes from Rainbow which will almost definitely be borrowed for our activities throughout the year.
